I know i know. I havent heard from me in a while either.
This weekend i went to a debate and speech tournament. It was overall a pretty awesome experience, but a couple of the skits the speech people did were...sad.
Have you ever watched a live performance where the actors were a little toooo commited? So commited thaat it kinda made you uncomfortable because they're kind of... bad at it? I felt pretty horrible but i got over it because there were only a couple of lame groups. the rest were AH-freakin-MAZING. a pair of guys did the best mony-python reenactment ive ever seen. i felt like a total dork because i was the only person in the room who was full out laughing. Everyone else gave a bit of a chuckle and then stopped, but i was snorting like a pig on happy crack. ahhhh... good times.
The debates my friends were in were over whether the food stamp program should be expanded. The team from this catholic school got pretty funny. I didnt see that one, but apparently food stamps are going to lead to overpopulation and then mass extinction. my friend kindly pointd out in his rebuttal that the only real way to avoid over population is to "exterminate people", which could potentially be "illegal".
I need to get me some people spray!
ok not really. maybe. no. kinda.
